Ending a game at 70% conquest when there are no other competitors.

Currently the only way to 'win' a game is by having 100% of the countries on the map. This is still the case if there is nobody else in the game or you have already reduced your opponents to 0 countries. Could it be possible to set the requirement to 70% or similar when there are no opponents? Another possibility would be 4 continents.

My reasoning is nobody in their right mind will join a game which already has a player that owns say 50% of the map with a few of the 100k+ nations (i.e. all of S/E Asia, India and the Middle East) plus it is such a ballache to keep plodding on in a game when you have to get everywhere (i.e. start in Malaysia and to get that 100% you have to conquer Uruguay etc). You're essentially ending up in a situation in every game of playing with yourself (hurr hurr) throughout the end rounds just waiting for your refresh on expansion juice.

Yeah totally agree. maybe it could be an option when you start the map... 100% wins all or 70% wins all.

You're right, something needs to be done here. You think a good threshold is 70%? Basically, the threshold would need to be where it's pretty impossible for an opponent to beat them.

This will be built into v2. You can see the progress of v2 in the stickied thread.
