All you need to do is do it all over again until you get the country. It's a low probability of success but the many trials make up for it. It's just one tank sent as well, so you don't have that many tanks lost.

my tanks are driven by chuck noris obviously....

and whenever u spam only 1 tank I find that it survives even when it dont hit lol so its just a free country :3

Actually it's really easy to take over countries with a low amount of tanks, especially if they're fully upgraded.
